Textron Aviation has unveiled a plan to significantly grow its footprint in Europe by expanding its primary parts distribution hub in Düsseldorf, Germany. The facility is set to increase in size by 50 percent, adding approximately 1,000 square meters to the existing infrastructure. This project is designed to house an additional 5,000 unique items, effectively broadening the inventory available for customers. By boosting local stock levels, the company intends to provide faster fulfillment for operators across the continent, reducing the time aircraft spend grounded for maintenance.

This investment reflects a long-term strategy to scale operations in response to rising regional demand for aftermarket services. Beyond the physical square footage, the expansion will support the growth of the local support team, enhancing the company’s ability to manage warranty claims and technical inquiries. By strengthening this central logistics point, the manufacturer aims to ensure that owners of Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker models have reliable access to critical components, ultimately improving the operational readiness of the regional fleet.

Business aviation is on a European and global mission to grow the economy and create meaningful, rewarding careers in one of the world’s most vital industries.
